Every Colorado State University student’s plate looks different. For 1 in 3 students experiencing food insecurity, hunger takes up too much room. Since 2014, the CSU community has come together each Giving Tuesday to knock hunger off of Rams plates.
You can fight food insecurity, too! By joining in before or on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, you’ll fill more than plates – you’ll fuel futures.
Without dependable access to healthy food, students have less time and energy to meet the opportunities and challenges of getting an education. Through food pantries, community programming, and more, Rams Against Hunger meets students where they are to ensure their basic needs are met. With your support, Rams Against Hunger can meet students in the dining hall by providing RamCard meal swipes to the students who need them most.
Your gift of any size makes a difference:
- $11 fills a plate.
- $160 feeds a Ram for a week.
- $440 supports a student for a semester.
The Rams Against Hunger meals swipes program is 100% funded by donors like you. The need on our campus grows, but so does our commitment: last semester, Rams Against Hunger provided meal swipes for more than 550 students, the most the program has ever served in a semester. Check out the “Impact” tab to learn more about how far your giving can go.
Join in by making a gift today, and help keep hunger off of Rams plates!
