Where do my donations to CoCoRaHS go? 

All donations received directly support the CoCoRaHS Network and its sustainability. Gifts are processed/receipted by the CSU Foundation, and no funds received are directed to NOAA's National Weather Service, which is a strong advocate of CoCoRaHS.

How much of my gift to CoCoRaHS is tax-deductible?

Please consult your tax advisor for assistance determining the tax-deductibility of your gift. You will receive a receipt from the CSU Foundation that you can share with your tax advisor, as needed. 

When will I receive a receipt for my donation to CoCoRaHS?

If you’ve made your gift online, you will receive an email official e-mail receipt from the CSU Foundation when your gift has been processed (usually 3-5 business days). During the holidays, we experience high gift volume and receipting timeline may be extended, so your patience is appreciated.

 How do I give through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) to CoCoRaHS?

Please this website on Donor Advised Fund giving. You may need the CSU Foundation's Federal tax ID number, which is 23-7098397, and the CoCoRaHS fund name/number, which is CoCoRaHS/060073.

Note: The DAF is responsible for issuing your receipt for your gift into the DAF, which is what you use for your tax deduction. Given the benefits you receive for giving through your DAF, you will not be eligible to receive a CoCoRaHS shirt, regardless of giving level. If you'd like to ensure you qualify for a shirt, we'd recommend giving online, through this campaign.
