This season, the Colorado AgrAbility Project is supporting Vijay, a farmer in Boulder County. Vijay uses a wheelchair to move around his farm and needs a new track to ride to help him avoid falls from rough terrain. We are raising funds to help build this track around his farm so he can continue to live on his property and raise his chickens and goats!
The Colorado AgrAbility Project promotes independence and enhances quality of life for Colorado farmers and ranchers. Our Rehabilitation Specialists provide on-farm and on-ranch assessments, assistive technology recommendations, and resource connections for producers experiencing physical limitations due to injury, disability, or age-related issues. Financial gifts to the Colorado AgrAbility Project will directly support the purchase of assistive technology to support farmers with disabilities, and the provision of behavioral health support to Colorado farmers and their families.
